1. Order Processing Time

In-Stock Items: Orders for in-stock items are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1-3 business days (Tuesday-Saturday, excluding holidays) after your order is placed and payment is confirmed.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items: For custom designs, engraved pieces, or made-to-order items, please allow additional production time as indicated on the product page or communicated to you by our team. This production time is separate from the shipping transit time.

2. Domestic Shipping (United States)

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times: We offer the following shipping options for orders within the United States, primarily using trusted carriers such as FedEx or UPS:

Standard Shipping: Typically arrives within 3-7 business days after processing. Insurance for this shipping method is optional and available at an additional cost (see Shipping Insurance section below).

Expedited Shipping: Typically arrives within 2-3 business days after processing. Cost calculated at checkout. Insurance for this shipping method is optional and available at an additional cost (see Shipping Insurance section below).

Overnight Shipping (Insurance Included): Typically arrives the next business day after processing. Cost calculated at checkout. Insurance for the full purchase value is automatically included with this option.

Please note that delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Business days do not include weekends or federal holidays.

Shipping Costs: Shipping costs for Standard, Expedited, and Overnight options are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package value, and selected shipping method. The option to add shipping insurance for Standard and Expedited methods (at an additional cost) will be presented during checkout. Insurance is automatically included in the cost of Overnight Shipping.

Shipping Insurance:

Overnight Shipping: All Overnight Shipping orders are automatically insured by Giraux Fine Jewelry for their full purchase value from the time they leave our premises until they are delivered to you.

Standard and Expedited Shipping: Insurance is NOT automatically included for Standard or Expedited Shipping methods. Due to the valuable nature of fine jewelry, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you purchase shipping insurance for these methods. The option to add insurance to your Standard or Expedited shipment, along with the associated cost, will be clearly presented to you at checkout.

If you decline to purchase insurance for Standard or Expedited shipments, Giraux Fine Jewelry cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage during transit beyond any limited liability that may be provided by the carrier (which is typically minimal). Once an uninsured package is transferred to the carrier, the risk of loss or damage passes to you, the customer.

All packages for which insurance is included (Overnight Shipping) or purchased (Standard/Expedited Shipping) are insured for their full purchase value.

Signature Requirement: For your protection and security, all orders will require an adult signature (18 years of age or older) upon delivery. Please ensure that an adult will be available at the designated shipping address to sign for the package. Packages cannot be left unattended or rerouted to a different address after shipment.

Shipping Address & Restrictions:

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate, complete, and secure. We are not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

We ship to valid street addresses within the United States.

Due to the value of our items and signature requirements, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, or freight forwarding services.
3. International Shipping

Canada: We offer shipping to Canada. Shipping options, costs, and estimated delivery times will be calculated at checkout. The option to purchase shipping insurance will also be presented. The recipient is solely responsible for all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs brokerage fees. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and will typically be collected by the carrier upon delivery.

Other International Destinations: For inquiries about shipping to destinations outside the United States and Canada, please contact our Customer Service team at service@giraux.com. These orders may be facilitated through our international fulfillment partners and may be subject to separate terms, conditions, and shipping policies.
4. Order Tracking Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number(s). You can use this number to track your package directly on the carrier's website. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.
5. Incorrect Address / Undeliverable Packages

It is the customer's responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address. Giraux Fine Jewelry is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refusal by the recipient, or failure to sign for the package, we will contact you. Re-shipment will be at the customer's expense. If you choose not to have the package re-shipped, a refund will be issued for the merchandise, less the original shipping costs, any insurance costs (if applicable and non-refundable), and any return fees charged by the carrier.
6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

While we take every precaution to ensure your order arrives safely, if your package is lost or stolen in transit, or arrives damaged, please contact Giraux Fine Jewelry Customer Service immediately at service@giraux.com or (415)-863-8188, and no later than 48 hours after the expected delivery date or receipt of a damaged item.

For insured shipments: We will guide you through the process of filing a claim with the insurer/carrier. Please retain all original packaging materials if your item arrives damaged, as these are essential for the insurance claim process.

For uninsured shipments (Standard or Expedited shipping where insurance was declined): We will provide you with any information we have to assist you in filing a claim directly with the carrier, but our liability is limited as stated in the "Shipping Insurance" section.

Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and your order confirmation email for pickup. The name on the ID must match the name on the order.
8. Changes to Shipping Policy Giraux Fine Jewelry reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our Site.
