Diamond color grading evaluates the absence of color. The most valuable diamonds are completely colorless, allowing light to pass through effortlessly.

The GIA color scale ranges from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown). D-F are colorless, G-J are near-colorless.

YOUR DIAMOND: VS2 Clarity

Clarity refers to the presence of internal characteristics (inclusions) and external characteristics (blemishes). These are nature's fingerprints, created during the diamond's formation.

The GIA clarity scale ranges from Flawless (FL) to Included (I3). Many inclusions are microscopic and invisible to the naked eye.
